Believe it or not ,despite this forecast, we currently haven't got any rain....we no doubt will though at some point.
Finally had some rain this morning, but it wasn't as heavy as the forecasters predicted but at last the garden got a thorough watering and all the water butts are topped up a bit. Dry now and the sun is making an appearance at last.
Here we go again! August has been really mild with rain here and there, and much cooler than usual temps. However, after wonderful outdoor weather the past week , starting today the thermometer will climb into the 90s and maybe 100 tomorrow. Geez! Hopefully it won’t last more than 4-5 days and then moderate. I have some remodel projects that I started but have put on hold till it cools off . I visited my former place of employment and came home with a 2 gallon Dwarf Serbian Spruce to add to my growing collection of evergreen shrubs. I am anxious to get it in the ground!
At 2.30pm had some rain and i was in it walking River and i didn't have my coat because it looked alright before we went out.

@Kay dwarf Serbian spruce is a great little shrub to add to your collection. I have had one for many years and they barely need any trimming or care once established, and it’s critter proof too. @Oreti beautiful pic of your grden.
