As I get older I am becoming a whimp!!! Our current temp is 25C but feels like 27C, I 've been out here in the garden since 10am..we ate lunch out here too but now even with just the slightest bit of cloud bubbling up it has become too muggy for me to carry on in the open without some shading !! I will have to give myself a stern talking to as I absolutely love being outside and feel like I 've wasted the day if I'm indoors for too long! I really must toughen up.
Well, our prediction depends on who you believe. Local newspaper- (The Columbian) But weather app Still quite hot later this week. I'll strive to keep things watered. No more un-potting newer starts or transplanting until the hot spell ends. I think the fig tree start will be safer in ground, now that it's planted. Won't dry out as fast. Also the lavender plants that I planted yesterday. I'll give them a good watering. Sure glad I installed drip lines elsewhere this Spring. Big help.
Still getting rain everyday thanks to the monsoon season, and the temperature too now doesn't go higher than 30°C. So to me that's pretty comfortable, (in comparison to what it had become like before). As you can see from my pictures, all plants and trees in my locality are really loving this - And so are the people!
