Well apparently I just don't believe I have too many plants either. My gardens are full, and there are planters all over the yard. But guess what ... I went to the garden center today. The sign said "up to 75% off". Guess what I came home with? A new Rose bush, Penstemon, Variegated coreopsis, Russiand Sage, Verbascum, Campanula, and Yarrow. I'm starting to think that maybe I have a problem
I'm sure people think we have too many but guess what,I don't care. There are still many, many plants out there that I want to get. And I don't necessarily mean daylilies.I have 3 daylily seedlings I need to get in ground. Having hard time finding spot.Have a small blue spruce in pot that needs planting. My hub hates my expression"we can always move it later". I have so many containers it looks like Princess Di's funeral. sNs
SNS going to flower walk next Sunday. Bet will make a new list. At least getting more rain then last year. And she has many lilies.
Gosh... sounds like me. And since my "garden" is out in the street, you can imagine the embarrassment when passers-by wonder what is wrong with me
I have told one Habitat Homes will divide some flowers. So when they get done building. Can have flowers next year.
Well lady told me I have a park. Made me happy. But me even happier. Will be sending home with a few this fall. make room for MORE.
You know you have too many plants when the pathways begin disappearing and there is no lawn. You know you are an addict when a package arrives and you forgot you had ordered iris in the spring. I remember the Daffs that haven't arrived yet.
Trouble have a little over 2 acres. But need time to enjoy -and not have 2nd job.But told DH not really work
*nudges Jewell* We've still got lawn but that's mainly because I'm too busy during the days to convert more of it. Anyhow, this year I've actually got room for more plants since so many died because of the horribly hard frost combined with no snow last winter.
DH grinned seen me looking at Oakes catalog And seen ones I have tagged And see what a truck load of good mulch would cost.
