Amazing amount of thorns on that little plant, glendann. Do you have to put thick gloves on to handle it?

We call it "Christusdoorn" here (Euphorbia millii).
I have seen these growing along side the road in Nepal as tall as my head! (6'3").
Its a very popular house plant for the windowsill here.

I haven't had to handle it much as its about 7 inches tall.I will keep it potted as I don't need to have to mow around it and be stuck by it.

I love the funky mutant flowerheads!

Used to have something called a 'Mother-in-law's Tongue', a succulent that looked like big speckled green tongues, gave it to my mom-in-law as a joke and she tried to kill it for years but my father-in-law would care for it on the sly. Haha!

Right now I think all I have are run-of-the-mill, though pretty. I would like to get a mouse-plant.

Primsong, is that the one with blooms looking like mice with their head down? We've got it, but it hasn't bloomed for us yet. I tried to google it, but didn't get any results, and I've been too lazy to try and find the Latin name for it.

I just found a Mouse Plant in my Botanus catalog. It's called Arisarum Proboscideum. Is this the same plant Droopy?

Thank you Netty. Yes, it is! My husband thinks it's the coolest plant he's ever seen. I didn't realize that the Norwegian common name for it is a direct translation from English. I would have been able to find it sooner had I known.

What is that thing with the thorns? Do you treat it like a cactus? I favor almost anything that blooms though.
