White blooming herb or weed. I believe it is Oregano.

    The flower looks like a Silene. I would say no to Basil and oregano as I have both growing in my garden. I blame the birdies, always dropping seeds all over.

    hmmm, i checked out the silene but i think the center of the flower looks difference as well as the foliage. I am agreeing that it is not Oregano or Basil though. I think I will just pull it and plant some more Oregano seeds.

    I decided to seed start with coffee filters. I saw this suggestion on a post to someone else. This way I will definitely know if it is my seeds that are growing, something a bird deposited, came with the soil, etc.

    Droopy said Lychnis and I thought yup looks like a white maltese cross (lychnis), just searched from there. It's very pretty and a delicate looking flower.
