Woman faces jail time for planting Veggie Garden

    Terrible shame that her municipality doesn't appreciate what she is doing. She is raising awareness about healthy foods, and showing kids about gardening. I think she is performing public service. I also think it's outrageous to be told what you can and can't plant on your own property... assuming it's kept neatly, of course. I hope she wins her case and doesn't give in.

    this is ridiculous, BUT...she did knowingly purchase a home here knowing the restrictions...it was not kept secret from her. she should sell, and move to the country where space and land use is bit more liberal.

    I heard the case was dropped before it went to court. But now the city is after her for dog licenses. I wonder why they are bugging her when there are real criminals out there?

    Netty, It's because she is an easy target. SHE is not a dangerous criminal/thug carrying a gun and making the police a target practicing site....
