Such an impressive history. So much courage and so much loss then.

For what it's worth Mike, one of my scans had a blur too. Then they looked and noted that there was a blur on a prior scan that they missed. It turned out to be a slowly dissolving pill. I'm glad you have a great medical team and treatment. Makes a big difference. Best wishes to you.:fingerscrossed:

Small John deer tractor. Noticed while mowing there were no jumping moles, voles or gophers so far this season.
But the resident hawks followed me around..they spotted what I couldn’t see.

Hope that blur turns out to be nothing @MIKE ALLEN - your roses need you! Maybe it's a pill like Daniel's!
I popped into Ashford hospital on Monday by ambulance, and got another two stents fitted to my heart. That's four now, I got the other two last January. I managed to get four of my new roses planted yesterday, but had a day off today - had a dose of lazy itis ! Rain forecast tomorrow, so the other four will have to wait until Monday.

Yesterday I made a loaf of bread for sandwiches, and some lemon cookies. Then the stove quit working. I think the propane tank is empty with a broken valve but I don't know. Can a gas stove have a controller fuse that might burn out?

I don't think I have been ''normal'' all my life Daniel, but while I have my garden and help from Ziggy, I shall be about as normal as possible. Thanks for your kind wishes :smt045
As for the stove, it seems to be a bit like a car with no petrol. Either the gas ran out or else there may be a blockage in the carburettor?

I hope that it's made a difference, my brother couldn't have the 4 stents in his heart the blockage was too bad so he had to have the bypass op, all the other patients in the ward had stents.

Yes, I realise how fortunate I am , and am grateful for that. I certainly believe in counting my blessings, mind you it can still be a bit scary when it all kicks off, and quite frustrating to have to go slower on the garden when there is so much catching up to do. Little and often will have to be the new work slogan Logan ....ooh look that rhymes :whistling::rolleyes:

I went on-line to tax my car today.
    It's straight-forward.
They send you a reminder by post that gives you a unique code to enter on the website.
I've been doing it that way for over a decade.
You answer a few questions and it's done and dusted.

    Wrong!

It wasn't having it, I tried three times, the site couldn't find my details. Then started ignoring me.

So I tried doing it on the phone, "talking to a computer."

It can't understand "BBC English." So you have to use the phonetic alphabet one letter at a time.
It took for ever and it still couldn't find my details.

I went on-line again and tried "live chat."

    That was "dead."

Trawling through the internet looking for "DVLA telephone number where a real person answers the phone" I eventually found one.
There was a fifteen minute wait but eventually I got through to someone and they sorted it.

At 2.15pm took the boys out for their walk, got around the back of the house and i felt a few spots of rain, all of a sudden it pelted down and I sheltered under a tree for a few minutes. We were supposed to have a thunderstorm but we had the rain.

Gotta go out and spray the weeds when the wind calm down. I use organic weed killer. It been a long rainy spring and this is the first day it’s dried out and too windy, it may calm down by late in the afternoon . :fingerscrossed:

I was checking on audio/music message boards to which I occasionally subscribe and someone mentioned they'd seen this and had ordered it, which had prompted a couple of others to express some interest.
I've a lot of screwdrivers, but many of them are pretty old. So I ordered one.
You can't have too many screwdrivers.

    £23 from Aldi.

Sorry folks. 'Been under the weather past few days. Possibly covid. Well everything else is being blamed on covid. Feels like I have been kicked by several mules, raging headache etc. Everything distorted, even the doorway wasn't large enough....I walked into the wall. (No Tetters. No tipples involved)
Tetters. So glad you are up and running again. I am being monitored for Aortic stenosis. I dread any treatment. I lost my wife due to heart disease.
Sorry no offence meant, but I can't help pictuing in my mind's eye. Tetters going to hospital. Four aortic stents please. (bringing to mind the now famous TV. Ronnie Barker sketch of the four candles/forkhandles.)

Thought for the day. 'Living will kill you in the end'

    Stay Safe. God Bless.
