When ever we want to eat pie, we will make our own … everything from the crust to the fillings. The only place that sell "pie" is the supermarket bakery and it is …. I am sure you can imagine what I mean and there is no pork pie!!! Becky make the best pie, yum!!!
Just finished all the mince pies from what i made before christmas. So this morning i made 3 large jam tarts with homemade jam, with wild plums from up the road.

Thank you Gail, just started soaking the mixed dried fruit for the next Christmas cake. They've been soaking for a week in sherry/ fortified wine. Just slowly getting the other ingredients together, them diside when to make it.
