Yes i remember about you saying about why you have to keep your pastures mowed. We don't have a lot of snakes or like that, so it would be alright for us to have a no mow summer in our area but the council wouldn't do it.

Many neighborhoods in residential areas have similar restrictions, ordinances and security in some cases here as well. Also called HOA’s. Homeowners association, is a self-governing organization in communities where homeowners pay fees to maintain their homes or neighborhood. HOAs are typically run by resident homeowners, unpaid volunteers who are elected to a board of directors that oversees the HOA's management. They can even provide a list of plants that cannot be used as well as hard scape etc. also when it’s appropriate to place trash out and yard debris for pick up. How many animals etc. Boy I’d be in constant hot water with the council or HOA’s between my garden and zoo.
They look after the maintenance of the counties. We have a different local council for every county. A local council is a universal term for community, neighbourhood, parish and town councils. They are the first tier of local government and are statutory bodies. They serve electorates and are independently elected and raise their own precept (a form of council tax).
