Gardening crazy

Category: Spring Planting | Posted: Sun May 06, 2012 1:52 am

Well today and yesterday I hung out in my lawn and garden. I went to English Gardens and they had some 99¢ annuals. I bought some flowers called Cleosia and they were super colorful.

I planted those and they looked really good compared to yesterday, I think they needed sun.

I also bought some four o'clock and zinnia seeds to fill the empty containers from the celosia. I hope that they grow.

I also wanted to figure out what the names of these plants are. The first one has yellow stars flower

This one is called salvia I believe and I'm thinking it's not going to bloom.

Your Cleosia are lovely and what a great variety of colours they come in. They should go on flowering for you until the end of summer as they do here in the UK.

How big will they get? How many flowers per plant? I'm trying to get a full colorful wheat look?

Celosia produce a lot of seeds, just shake them when they grow a little bit more, and you will have enough seeds to fill a Barn.
