Oh Those Critters! We have electric fencing around the gardens. High population of deer on our property. Last year I planted my squash and cucumbers out side the fence as the deer never bothered them before. Needless to say they cleaned them! So, this year everything goes inside the fence. Woke the other night to that smell that everyone dreads. You guessed it. Peppi Le Pew was around. First thought was that the neighbour's dog and he had a confrontation. Nope, not at all. Up near the rows of peas and beans he tried to get under the fence. Naturally the fence zapped him. I guess he thought that he was under attack! Thankfully his tail end was pointed away from the garden and into the field. Still smell pretty awful in that spot though....ewwww! This blog entry has been viewed 338 times

Yuck - not the most pleasant smell to have wafting around!! Maybe though his aroma will keep other critters away from your plants for a while.
So sorry, but you can be sure he won't be back. Hopefully he'll tell his friends and they will stay way too.
I always wondered what that smells like. Guess I should be careful what I wish for :)
