Ribbon Cutting CeremonyPurple Ranch Lavender Farm had a very successful ribbon cutting ceremony on June 4, 2008. Over forty people from the Royse City area came out to celebrate the event. Special thanks to the Royse City Chamber of Commerce and Julia Bryant for her hard work. All visitors received a door prize and a great lunch catered by Soulman's Bar-B-Que. The wind was roaring about 100 miles an hour and hamburger buns and plates were flying everywhere. I thought I was going to have to get the nail gun out to attach that brisket to the plates. Everyone seemed to have a great time and I was glad I could be a part of the event. Until next time. Lavender Up! Looks like a good time was had by all. Congrats on the completed Pergola.
Oh my gosh, that's quite some wind! 44 meters per second, thats hurricane and then some. Your pergola looks great, and I like all those happy faces. Congratulations, well done.
Well Congrats on the ribbon cutting. The pergola is looking very fine. Everyone looks like they were having a good time, chasing hambergers or not. BBQ sounds so yummy!
Good for you! This is fantastic. What a boon for you and your family.
Congrats on a great turnout.Looks like fun was had by all even if the wind was picking up everything. Its really windy here in central Texas today.
The pergola looks so good now it's finished and is definately strong enough as it's still standing even with those high winds. So glad it didn't spoil your special day.
