Reflections on a Wedding

Category: Sharing Garden photos | Posted: Tue Nov 02, 2010 2:40 am

It's hard to believe that it has been a month since our daughter was married. We were blessed with a gorgeous day. The wedding & reception were all that we hoped it would be...a magical day! It was over much too quickly but we have wonderful memories and an excellent photographer who captured the emotion and excitement of the day.

We do not have all the photographer photos but she put together a preview slideshow. It takes about 15 minutes to view and it begins with the rehersal dinner. If you would like to view it here is the link. The wedding photos begin about 1/4 of the way through so you can click on the bar at the bottom to advance it.

These are two of my favorite photos that the photographer took before the wedding.

Gail, I cannot imagine a more perfect wedding and wedding day. And next year at this time you will hear the pitter patter of little feet; when they get a puppy. :-)

Well Gail---I am speechless. That was a marvelous pictorial account. It was "storybook".
Everything was so nice and perfectly organized. Everyone looked good and were happy.
It was super that the weather worked out like it was supposed to too.
I liked most the "detail" shots of the various, well...details of the whole event, from the invitations to les boutonniers, to the poignant shots of the waiting husband innn a crowd and the parents in a crowd (you know, with the indistinct surroundings)--pure art, and last but not least the symbolic shots of the couple walking away. There werer a couple but I liked best the first one where they were strolling away on the trottoir of blooms.
For my eyes, this was a perfect event and the slide show was put together exceptionally well.

All that's left now is for me to say, "Congratulations to you and your (new) family as well as add my wishes that the couple will have a long and fulfilling life together. May the spell never be broken.

Gail, I finally had the time to view this. It is wonderful!
I could feel the excitement, happiness, and love on this very special day! You are such a proud mom!
I think all the planning paid off, and it was a beautiful, perfect day for you and your family. Congratulations!
