Ready for Winter
Category: The Joys of gardening | Posted: Mon Nov 16, 2009 9:47 pm We have been fortunate to have two weeks of sunny days and afternoon temperatures around 70. This weekend I finished up my pre-winter chores. The annuals have been pulled, the perennials have been cut back, birdbaths & birdfeeders got a good cleaning, and the leaves have been raked. There is always more to do but the bulk of it is done. I can't believe that Thanksgiving is next week! Thirty five days until winter officially begins. My knock out roses are still blooming, here are a few photos I took this weekend.
