Sun Room Makeover.Started this project Dec. 26, 2014. Finished last night Jan. 10, 2015. Carpet was in sad shape and time to go. The pillars and stone wall I make when this room was first built. The pillars are made of styrafoam and covered with a product call Drivit. It is a fiberglass resin mixed with water and that dries hard as concrete.I covered styafoam with the drivit and sanded them smooth after drying. The walls are also drivit. Took almost 1000 ft. of detailing tape to get lines between stone look blocks. Drivit was applied by the handful and squished around. Then I airbrushed the stones to get the colors. When dry I pulled off tape. My new floor is an Allur product. It's vinyl planking with a 25 year warranty. I think I'm going to like it. It took less then 7 hours to put down. Before. Very nice. You did a great job.
WOW what a difference!! Those pillars really look like marble and I love the grape shelves. I don't know how you managed to do everything in such a short space of time. I think you deserve that bottle of wine.
WoW, Donna, WOW!!!!!
That looks really nice and cosy. It gives a sort of sophisticated cosy feeling to me........Yeah, that sun room looks VERY nice.
