Category: beauty is in the eye of the beholder | Posted: Mon Sep 23, 2013 11:31 am I love the smells of fall and the cool beautiful days leaves being burn't hot chocolate and pumpkins everywhere hayrides,mazes, pumpkin bread and pie also apple season hot apple cider and little ones in costumes soon but sad to see my flowers go soon but have some beautiful mums to tend to this year I love the spider webs with early morning dew or frost on them have a beautiful fall Y'all This blog entry has been viewed 357 times

omgosh I am so sore
Category: beauty is in the eye of the beholder | Posted: Tue Sep 03, 2013 8:46 am we had to take a maddox to them the roots were huge but we got 11 they are all planted and am so happy will get pics today was to tired after working in 90 degree humid heat but hope they all live watered them very good and put them in good deep holes with new potting soil around them I am so sore but so so happy they are all full of blooms and buds hope I don't lose those but if I do they will be so pretty next year This blog entry has been viewed 423 times

Category: beauty is in the eye of the beholder | Posted: Fri Jul 19, 2013 9:04 am I have gone all over the mtns of nc looking for river rocks to put in and around my flower beds they are either too far down or it is illegal to take them I got a few yesterday but not what I really wanted so sad I wanted some nice round ones to paint on and put in my garden I did get a rhodendron to put in my flower bed and some plant I have no idea what it is but the leaves were pretty so brought a cutting home and planted it last night will try to get pics of them today also the night before last I planted all 3 of my knockout roses and my dish plate hibiscus and have finally gotten most of my flower beds weeded they are looking nice been having to wait till evening because of the heat my snake gourds are blooming like crazy but so far no little gourds are showing yet gotta get my wooden gnomes painted and put out in the yard hope to make a gnome garden next year thats it from here hope all has a green thumb day This blog entry has been viewed 416 times

Category: beauty is in the eye of the beholder | Posted: Fri Jan 18, 2013 10:45 am won a bunch of different gourd seeds so am waiting for those in the mail along with a bunch of seeds have 1 kind coming it is called a summer pointsettia it is really pretty it changes color just like a pointsettia does green red then yellow can't wait to see it in my garden everything is so white and still and icy outside right now very pretty but oh so dangerous so glad I don't have to go out in it going to work on my beer bottle windchime today I learned how to cut bottles without a bottle cutter am so excited got a bunch all ready to put together have a great green day all see you tomorrow hugs donna This blog entry has been viewed 380 times

Category: beauty is in the eye of the beholder | Posted: Thu Jan 17, 2013 12:57 pm I have won a bunch of different seeds can't wait till I can plant I have tree seeds and flower seeds do believe I will start them inside though we have had pouring rain for 5 straight days and now tonight white rain 2 to 6 inches yuck I am wanting spring so bad last year didn't have many flowers hope to do better this year I really want the tree seeds to do good as I have no trees in my yard would love to have the shade and limbs for windchimes and birdfeeders I won tulip tree seeds and a tree called worlds fastest growing seeds and bunches and bunches of rose of sharon seeds I definitley want to make a secret garden this year and put our memorial bench to our parents in it hope to get back to blogging my progress soon have a great green day This blog entry has been viewed 340 times
