Blooming Peonies.....We have had some uneasy weather this week but all the rain we have gotten and some periods of sun have opened some of the peonies. Here are a few pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The weather is expected to be crazy the next 8 days or so. Lots of Thunderstorms and rain left over from the rains int he mid west. Everything is growing a lot right now. Hopefully when the rains cease tons more growth will start. I really enjoy blogging on this site. The people are so friendly and the comments left are very encouraging. I hope everyone is having a great day or night depending on where you are in the world. All my peonies have been flattened by the rain and high winds we have here at the moment so it's a treat to see your in bloom Gardenmama. I love the yellow in the centre of the last flower.
I love the yellow in the last flower..I decided to run out this morning with the camera and take pics incase we get any big rains today. Peonies are so gorgeous however so delicate and don't last long.
HI Michele;
Ah, they are gorgeous! Ours are only tight buds still. Bar the very early ones, they're done weeks ago. Do you know the names of your peonies?
the flowers are great. I love all the pictures.
Those are just wonderful beautiful blooms .The closest I come to having those are through the peonie poppies and they look like your pink peonies.Thanks for the wonderful pictures.
I never thought about naming the peonies, but that is a cute idea! I think I will start this weekend!
Well GM, those are some pretty peonys you've got there.
Very pretty! Peony's are my very favorite flower. I had to run around and tie mine up before the last storm and they all came thru OK.
Michele, your flowers are so lovely. Hope any bad weather doesn't hurt your flowers. I tired Peonies and they didn't work for me. Think it is too warm for them! Boo! Login or register to leave a comment. |
