Thank you

Category: Ed's Balcony Garden | Posted: Mon Oct 24, 2016 2:39 pm

I want to thank the 2 members who set me some suggestions to my problem.
Marlingardener the only thing is the mice don't show during the day but a 3AM and as soon as I go near the mice leave the cage.
Mart I think I will try your idea and see if that works.
But thanks to all who helped.
Its funny last week it was 80 outside and I was in shorts, but over the weekend I went back to long pants and a jacket.
And with the chance of frost this week I have to watch the plants.

Just another day

Category: Ed's Balcony Garden | Posted: Fri Oct 21, 2016 5:04 pm

Hi friends and just another day from here.
For the past month I've been fighting wild mice here that are coming in from outside because of road construction out back.
I've tried sticky traps and now snap traps.
The mice are eating through my walls and coming under my bedroom doors.
I seal the holes with foam and they chew through the foam.
I take the parakeet food out of their cage and last night was the first time without mice.
The office says they are working on problem.
Now some pictures so sleep warm.

It works again

Category: Ed's Balcony Garden | Posted: Sat Oct 15, 2016 2:14 pm

Thanks to Frank for getting back on again and friends its been crazy here this past
My week started with a trip to the vet as Frack 's eye was looking bad.
Got his medicine and that cost $112.00 but his eye is getting better.
Then I repotted some of my plants but trying to get a bigger pot is almost impossible as most of the stores are getting ready for Christmas.
Weather is not bad so far but next week we are going back to the 80's

Happy Columbus Day

Category: Ed's Balcony Garden | Posted: Mon Oct 10, 2016 5:48 pm

Well friends welcome and Happy Columbus Day.
I started my day with a blood test and going to the store for a big flower pot only to find out they are getting ready for Christmas.
Frick and Frack are outside taking in the sun as there hasn't been any for a couple of days.
Going to continue to transplant some more plants when I get back from Home Depot.

Been a long time

Category: Ed's Balcony Garden | Posted: Mon Jun 27, 2016 4:31 pm

Friends its been a long time since I posted here.
I left a question about cleaning bird baths maybe someone can help.
I only have 1 tomato plant out for this year.
This morning my friend was putting my keets and dropped the cage which scared me and the birds.
And I need to know from Frank if this site can except a viodeo if I try.
If I don't get back before the 4th have a happy and safe 4th of July.
Sleep cool.

Bad Day Here

Category: Ed's Balcony Garden | Posted: Thu Jan 07, 2016 8:28 pm

Well friends its been a couple of bad days here.
First we had the cold weather now we may get some snow.
But today I buried my Sister which is hard for me to take as we are only 2 years apart.
Diane was a great sister and she helped me out many times.
Her husband died last April and I think she was heart broken.
I saw her 6 days ago here in my Apt and she really liked my place.
I will be lost without her.

COLD

Category: Ed's Balcony Garden | Posted: Tue Jan 05, 2016 2:05 am

Friends the keets are camping out in living room.
Hand is feeling a little better tonight.
Slept on sofa last night and not good but got some rest.
Will never how people work outside in this weather although I did it for 33 years.
Thanks to all for the well wishes.
Sleep WARM EVERYONE!
