....so sowed some today(2/18).
18 4'O'clock seeds went to ziplock bags in wet coffee filters.
2 4'O'clock seeds in potting soil.My 8year old son has taken responsibility for these.
14 Hollyhock seeds are in ziplock bags in wet coffee filters.
Now the wait begins......
(2/23)
Noticed a couple of hollyhocks sending out little white roots and even a couple of 4'OClocks doing the same. In less than a week.........this is great!
2/19
Sowed a fistful of green peas seeds in the backyard vegetable patch.
2/21Now I can't stop......
Sowed white and pink Snapdragon seeds (these are seeds I saved from last years blooms)in starter pots.
Blue butterfly pea vine seeds went to ziplock bags in wet coffee filters. Hope these do well-they are very special to me as I got only 12 of them from my sisters garden in India.
(3/22) Rishi started his gardening journey this year on 3/22. He went ahead and planted some radish seeds, fell on top of them and was sad that they might not grow. On top of that it rained and rained all day. I hope he can harvest some of the radishes he planted - just so he can enjoy his efforts. Hoping my little boy loves gardening as much as I do.
I also sowed some Morning Glory seeds which I had soaked the previous night. Some of the morning glory seeds went in a beautiful basket. If they indeed germinate and eventually flower, it will look beautiful. Both radish and Morning Glory seeds were 20cents per packet. If nothing grows out of these, I will learn not to go bargain humting with seeds.
