So here we are, the kids and grand kids are returned to their home, and the house is so quiet. No pitter patter of little feet on the floor, or bursts of giggling laughter as they play. Just quiet.

My leg is still disabled, and I can only take so many photos of the Birds and Squirrels at the bird feeder.
The local stores are displaying Christmas stuff, and it's still a month before Thanksgiving. There seems to be way too many horror movies on TV, Halloween I presume. I spend way too much time in the recliner (because of my leg it's the only place I can be comfortable for any length of time) watching TV. Don't get me wrong, I'm not looking for sympathy here, because the kids were here, and we fully enjoyed the time with them. We had a wonderful summer down at the lake, I even got to wreck my knee down there. And, I am some what of a couch potato, if the truth be told, and that recliner is a great place to get an afternoon nap. No, no sympathy here, it's actually quite nice to enjoy the peacefulness and quiet of this area. The sound of the wind rushing through the remaining leaves on the trees, and around the house, the pitter patter of the rain against the windows, Yawn, Yawn, ---- as a matter of fact, I think I'm going to head for the recliner right now.
