I'm WaitingI'm waiting but not patiently. It's been more than cold enough for me here this winter. I know it's been warmer than most of the country but you all should know by now that I'm not a cold weather person. So, I just looked at the 10 day forecast. Tomorrow will be 66 degs with mostly sun. I'll take that for sure. I might even be able to go outside without the cold to make my ears hurt. But starting on Tuesday we have temps in the 70's for five days and only rain on one of them. Hurrah!! There is rain for Wednesday but it will be 70 so I can take the rain. It calls for isolated showers so maybe they will isolate elsewhere. Then, it's back to the 60's and rain on Saturday and Sunday. Well, it's still January so I guess I can't expect 70's all of the time. Well, I can expect it but I don't always get what I expect. There are things we can do outside. There are things we can do inside, too. Maybe we can open the doors and let some warm inside, too. Chance will like it. She likes sun and warm, too. We've had rain for four days now and it's been cloudy and gloomy and cold. I guess you all feel sorry for me now, right! Probably not! I can handle that. I'm just waiting for summer. dooley This blog entry has been viewed 459 times

Dooley, send me some of your rain. All we have had is some heavy mist, just enough to mess everything up! And the gloom, I am so tired of! I am also looking for some sun. I can take the cold, as long as it is sunny!
We're hoping we don't get any rain as there is so much snow around. Flooding is a real possibility if it all melts too quickly. I have a feeling we won't be seeing too much sun so I can't see that being a problem here in Scotland.
It will bo so great Dooley to get back 50 degrees.I will be home Monday night .
We could use some of that rain and warmer temps here.
It did get up in the 60's today with sunshine. I took the paper and sat on the porch in the sun to read it. I sat and read for a couple of hours until the wind began to blow. It was really a nice treat. Tomorrow is supposed to be 70 and mostly sunny. Can you guess where I will be? dooley
dooley, I am waiting for spring too. I just want the rain to stop so my yard can dry up enough to get my soil hauled in for my new daylily bed.
I would love something warmer than 30°F/-1°C or lower. That's what we're living with at the moment. I shan't complain since it was down to 14°F/-10°C a couple of weeks ago. So this nearly feels like spring to us. *lol* Login or register to leave a comment. |
