Anyway, between showers I had a walk down at the lagoon, there are lots of ducks there. They come for the winter from the prairies. The herons are always around so I had to make do with those. Those white spots on mushrooms.
Category: My Garden Birds | Posted: Fri Nov 12, 2010 1:54 am Some mushrooms have white patches on them, they look rather neat, but why do they vary. Well, most of them like the amanita's, break though a veil when reaching the surface. As they break this, parts stick to it. These don't shrink but appear smaller as the mushroom gets bigger. More attach to some of the same species, thus making them appear different.
