A Hairy Woodpecker plus,
Category: My Garden Birds | Posted: Wed Apr 22, 2009 5:29 am Many people get confused with the Hairy and Downy woodpeckers. If you don't see them together or up close, it is hard to know which is which. Today I'm posting the Hairy, and an extra shot so that you will see just how much different they are. The second shot, and no fixing in photo shop etc, shows the two on a log, I have them all trained to do this. Look at the log and compare the size of the birds. Hairy Woodpecker.
